Reading
Conversation between two people on a social situation; Monologue in a social context; Conversation in a four-people set in an education /training set up; Monologue in an academic subject
Authentic texts taken from books journals, magazines and newspapers; Texts are descriptive, factual, factual, discursive or analytical. Skills assessed are: reading for gist, main ideas, details, inferences and implied meaning, recognizing writer’s opinion, attitude and purpose

Speaking
Test takers are assessed on Task Achievement / Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range & Accuracy
Skill Assessed: ability to communicate opinion, information on every day topics, common experiences, speak at length on a given topic using appropriate language and organising ideas coherently, justify opinions and to analyse, discuss and speculate issues
